- 1/2 cup ice
- 1/2 cup almond milk (vanilla-flavored is preferred, but plain also works wonderfully)
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 Tbsp. local honey (adjust to your preferred sweetness)
- For an extra creamy texture and added nutrients, consider adding half a banana or a tablespoon of plain yogurt.

- Begin by peeling the clementines. Their loose rind makes them incredibly easy to peel by hand.
- Carefully remove any remaining white pith from the fruit segments to ensure a smooth, bitterness-free smoothie.
- In a powerful blender or juicer, combine all the ingredients except the ice.
- Blend thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Now, add the specified amount of ice and blend again until the smoothie reaches a creamy, thick consistency.
- If you prefer a more “ice-y” or colder smoothie, feel free to add additional ice cubes and blend briefly.
- Pour the freshly blended smoothie into a chilled glass and serve immediately to enjoy its optimal coldness and thick texture.
- For those who prefer a less icy consistency in their smoothies, you can pour the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve after blending the ice. This will catch the ice, allowing only the smooth, creamy liquid to pass into your glass.
